Community Farm of Ann Arbor is Michiganβs very first CSA, founded in 1988, and one of the few farms in Michigan continuously practicing biodynamic agriculture. The farm grows heirloom vegetables and fruit trees (peach, apple, pear, paw-paw), keeps bees, and raises milk cows, goats, and sheep on preserved land with two Civil War-era barns.
Members are true farm community participants β not just box subscribers. Pickup is Wednesday or Saturday, 12β3pm. 15 volunteer hours are required for share members. 2026 membership options:
- Full Share β $750β$1,200 (target $950), weekly pickup
- Half Share β $400β$650 (target $450), bi-weekly pickup
- Full Work Share β $400, weekly pickup with 80 volunteer hours (sold out for 2026)
- Membership Only β $100, no share, includes workshop access and farm privileges
- Donated Share / Sponsor a Family β variable donation to support community members in need
At least 25% is due at signup; full payment due by August 1st. Payment accepted via Stripe or check.
